Godzilla: King Of The Monsters

Long live the king!…or stop making the movies. This could be a massive hit or miss. Personally, I love the cheesy 90’s film and nothing has been able to top it. This films doesn’t just star Godzilla though. All the monsters are coming out to play!

Booksmart

Olivia Wilde’s directing debut! You know…Alex from the The O.C. Yes her. This coming of age film looks HILARIOUS! As two smart gals who’ve spent their own high school career in their books instead of enjoying themselves. The day before graduating they decide to let loose.

MA

The Procuder or US and Happy Death Day is bringing us some more creepiness starring Octavia Spencer. I think Spencer is a top actress and just proves more versatility than ever. I never thought of her in a horror but damn she nails it. Those eyes!? Creepy!

OUT NOW

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Sophie Turner is landing some great roles. Bonus for her agent. This film looks incredible. Dark, scary, action packed, dramatic. All the good stuff. X-men for me was on a down hill spiral. This is one of the best comebacks I’ve ever looked forward to.

Approximate release date 7th June

Men In Black International

Hmmmmmm….I’m still not sure about this. Let’s face it. Men in Black is a classic. I remember watching it in RE! Yes, Religious Education. I don’t understand why either? Other than another addition to a franchise I wish wasn’t a franchise, I’m not sure about this casting. No Will Smith? Really?

Approximate release date 14th June

Brightburn

This film reminds me of the beginning of Superman but with a twist. What if Superman landed on earth, took in my his parents and turned out to be a monster. OK, I’m hooked already.

Approximate release date 21st June

Toy Story 4

Move out the way kids! This film is for the adults who grow up with this franchise. Who saw the birth of Pixar. We all though film 3 would be the last for our favourite characters but no…one more time! Maybe we’ll find out who actually poisoned the waterhole.

Approximate release date 21st June

Yesterday

Hello Danny Boyle. I missed you. Boyle is known for CLASSIC films such as Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, 127 hours, 28 Days later, The Beach and Sunshine. This film is based around a guy who finds himself in a world where THE BEATLES DON’T EXIST. As a half Scouser the thought of this terrifies me but the idea is fascinating. This guy takes the songs and becomes famous….obviously. They’re cracking songs.

Approximate release date 28th June
