I’ve been watching a lot of Christmas Movies on Netflix lately, but I did squeeze in a few more shows and films in between my festive fix. Some of my favourite Netflix recommendations this month have been new series’, new films and new shows. New, new, new! That’s what I like to see. No remakes!
A new drama with a magic twist. Getting thrown back in time after her daughter is murdered to try to stop it from happening. It’s a little bit complicated, hard to understand but I do like shows and films about fate so it was an interesting show to watch.
I thought this show couldn’t get any better but the second season just blew me away. It’s a fantastic murder mystery with a twist. You find out who has done it at the start but you have to figure out why! There’s so many twists and turns. One of my favorite TV shows of the whole year.
This show is hilarious! It reminds me of when I first started baking before my cake decorating business when I really didn’t know what I was doing. They’re proper amateur bakers with no real clue on how to bake and having to make extraordinary cakes. It’s another great series.
Based around the ending of William Wallace’s tragic ending, comes the beginning of Robert the Bruce’s story. The King of Scotland played by Chris Pine. That was enough for me. I wasn’t really impressed at the beginning but I was mislead when I thought this was a series. A lot better as a film and some of the season are really impressive.
December on Netflix
In December, I’m excited to watch the Christmassy installment of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 1 “A Midwinters Tale”, Roma from the Oscar winning Alfonso Cuarón and lastly Bird Box based on the post-apocalyptic novel by Josh Malerman starring the fabulous Sandra Bullock.
