Christmas is here! Put up the Christmas Tree, hang up all the decorations and start getting into that festive spirit…except if you fancy going to the cinema. Netflix are very prepared for the Christmas season with tons of amazing new cheesy Christmas films to enjoy.
Meanwhile, there’s a lack of festive fun to be had at your local cinema unless you fancy watching the Nutcracker Live. However, not everyone wants to watch Christmas films at Christmas believe it or not. Here’s a great selection of none festive treats for you to enjoy this December.
RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET
Disney fans rejoice! Wreck it Ralph is back for a sequel and bringing all the Disney Princesses with it, all mingling together in one room (for a short scene). Let face it, that’s why we want to watch it. It’s just as exciting as watching all the Avengers interacting together for the first time. A great film and a great excuse to watch an animation for kids but is really for us!
I’m obviously a bit bias here after attending the World Premiere last week but honestly it’s a great film and original story. Not a remake, not a sequel and a new world to dive yourself into based off the best selling books by Philip Reeve. Something different, new and fresh. We need something fresh to watch lately. Everything else is starting to stink…
Approximate release date 8th December
SORRY TO BOTHER YOU
This hilarious comedy looks set to be a big hit to end the year. It’s been a while since we’ve had a good comedy to watch so I can’t wait to watch this one.
Approximate release date 7th December
Hello my moon and stars. The DC Universe is trying to stay a float with a new spin off from the Justice League. Wonder Woman could survive on her own but Aquaman with Jason Momoa at the helm. I could definitely watch 90 minutes of Jason Momoa, don’t really care what the film is about.
Approximate release date 14th December
MARY POPPINS RETURNS
Mary Poppins is back! It’s been one of the most anticipated films of the year and the perfect way to end 2018. Emily Blunt looks set to be the perfect Mary Poppins as she returns to the Banks children who have all grown up and have their own children now too. Lots of fun, magic and singalongs to be had once more, over 50 years since the original.
Approximate release date 21st December
