5 BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES TO WATCH THIS JULY

I’m back in the UK after spending the last few weeks travelling across America. I’ve got some major post travel blues so I’ve got plans to spend most of this time catching up on TV shows I’ve missed and hitting the cinema. There’s a  lot of massive films coming out this month which will certainly take my mind of things. Here’s some of the films I’m looking forward to watching.

THE FIRST PURGE

The Purge franchise has been a bit hit and miss with it’s movies. The concept of the movies is really interesting and gripping. The first movie really wasn’t that great but the idea behind it backed it up for the next few movies. The second movie was my favourite and the most recent Election Year was OK but I was hoping that would be it. Nope, we’re going back to the beginning with the First Purge. Hopefully, this prequel will do the story line some justice and deliver some great scares too.

Approximate release date 6th July

THE INCREDIBLES 2

The  Incredibles is one of my favourite Pixar films. The super family is back and this time Mom is going to work and dad is staying at home to look after the kids. YES! Very modern story and should bring some decent laughs, as well as all the main characters coming back. Hopefully, Jack Jack will have his powers figured out by now.

Approximate release date 13th July

SKYSCRAPPER

Hey Look. It’s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, doing something original. Oh, wait. This looks very similar to Die Hard. Wait, it basically is Die Hard. Come on Dwayne!! The film is set to be action packed (as usual), filled with stunts (as usual) and Dwayne Johnson in short sleeved shirts showing off his arm muscles (as usual). It’s your typical action movie. Nothing more to report there.

Approximate release date 13th July

MAMMA MIA 2: HERE WE GO AGAIN

ABBA fans assemble! Mamma Mia 2 is set to hit our screens again with more songs, more cheese and more big names. Meryl Streep has joined the party a long side Cher, Christine Baranski and the beautiful Lily James who is taking the role of young knocked up Donna. Should be a fun, family film or another film for Mum to enjoy.

Approximate release date 19th July

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT

Tom Cruise has been promoting this movie for nearly a year! He took a slight break from filming when he broke his ankle and carried on with the stunt scene trying to jump rooftops in London. They have added that scene to the movie and the trailer!? He’s also been doing his own stunts again but this time he thought he would fly the helicopter too. CRAZY MAN!

Approximate release date 27th July
