It feels like Blockbuster seasons has been a little earlier this year but there’s still some mega movies still to come this summer. We’ve got another Marvel film, a fun filled comedy and one…for mum. When those rainy days are ruining your BBQ plans, hit the cinema instead and see one of these fun films.

BOOK CLUB

This is one for the mums including my own. 100% up her street. This suburban book club are introduced to the raunchiest book on the shelves “50 Shades of Grey”, which gets them talking about their own sex lives or lack of. This film stars some fabulous actresses such as Diane KeatonJane FondaCandice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen.

Approximate release date 1st June

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM

It’s one of the most highly anticipated moves of the year and I’m so excited to get some more dinosaur action this summer. The park might be gone but the dinosaurs are still alive. However, with a volcano about to destroy the island it’s time for a rescue mission but is it for human reasons or business? Either way, we’ve got more of Chris Pratt to enjoy.

Approximate release date 6th June

OCEAN’S 8

After the female casted Ghostbusters film, this Oceans female revamp can go two ways. I hope it’s going to be empowering with such a strong cast but if they go firmly down the comedy route like Ghostbusters, it could be a hot mess. It’s got some of my favourite leading ladies such as Sandra BullockAnne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter

Approximate release date 18th June

ANT MAN AND THE WASP

OK. I’m not the biggest fan of Ant Man even though it stars one of my favourite comedy actors Paul Rudd. I even ranked Ant-Man at the bottom of my Marvel Universe films list. However, I am dying to get some answers from the last Avenger’s film and Ant Man was missing from the film. Is the the new Ant Man film before, during or after the Avengers film and will there be any answers or clues to the next film?

Approximate release date 28th June

TAG

This film looks so much fun! It’s based on the old childhood game TAG but this group of friends are still playing even though they are now adults. Married with families and careers. This is a fun film to end June on a great high note.

Approximate release date 29th June
