Netflix has saved some of the best till last. December brought us some new shows, new films and new series to binge over the remainder of 2017. Two of which I’ve been looking forward to for most of the year. I’ve been binge watching alone and being anti social to get some decent Netflix time in this month during my holiday period. Sneaking off like I’ve got an addiction. I guess admitting it is the first step to recovery? What shows have you been addicted to? Any of these below?
Hello, Will Smith. Another A-lister’s joining the Netflix movie world. This film is right up my street. Fantasy, crime thriller. Fantasy clashing with reality as Orcs, Fairies and Elves are living in the same work as humans. Showing political views and cultural divides within a conflicted fantasy universe. Love it!
Supposed to be a German version of “Stranger Things”. I’m here to tell you it’s not. No where close. However, it’s still spooky and instead of one disappearing kid there quite a few of them. Oh, let’s not forget the downside that it’s all in German. You can switch this off and put on an American dubbing over the top though but you’ll have to make do with the weird lip sync. This can annoy some people….a lot of people.
The 2nd series of Glitch recently came out but I’ve never seen it. It’s actually quite intriguing. It’s about a bunch of people in Australia who suddenly come back to life. I’m not talking about zombies or people just re appearing on the door step. These people are found crawling out of their coffins. Some have been dead longer than others. Some hundreds of years. There’s a sense of unfinished business and reuniting them with their loved ones without freaking them out.
This is one of my favourite finds! Cosy up by the fireplace this winter or if you don’t have one, switch on Netflix. Instead of binge watching Netflix films, enjoy the company of your family and friends and stick this on in the background. Sometimes, it’s nice to just enjoy the company of others. FYI This trailer for a fireplace is hilarious!
WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW. Maybe, I should add a 6th WOW, as we now have 6 amazing new episodes to enjoy. I binge watched all 6 episodes in 1 day. I couldn’t help it. I’ve loved the past 3 series so I couldn’t wait to see the new creative story line’s Charlie Brooker cooked up for us. I wasn’t disappointed. What a series.
