Probably, the front runner for Film of the year. Most probably. I can already see all the nominations for BAFTA, Golden Globes and the Academy Awards now. If you haven’t seen it….you really need to ASAP!
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI
Episode 8 of the Franchise is going to be a monster movie. It will most likely be one the highest grossing films of the year. The Star Wars nerds (including myself) will see to that.
What a film. This is suppose to be a horror but it was more of an unexpected comedy. It’s hilarious. A great physiological thriller with a lot of laughs.
I freaking hate clowns. I hate them more now. Horrors are easily one of my favourite genres and this one got me hiding my eyes. It even made my list for my favourite Horror films at Halloween. Flippin’ clowns!?
Not just a great film for this year but the best Spider-man movie to date. Completely action packed and finally a Spider-man which represents the characters real age and personality of a true kid. Brilliant.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
OK. I had a few problems with this film but it’s still one of my favourite films of the year. It’s truely magical and Emma Watson is perfect as Belle. Disney are on a role with their live action versions and I can’t wait to see the Lion King and Mulan which are coming soon.
This film was is the beginning of something fantastic for M.Nights films, and no one knew until the last 10 seconds of Split. I didn’t see it coming….Did you?
One of the best War films ever. Mel Gibson brings us an absolutely horrific but beautifully shot war story. Golden Globe and Oscar nominated/winning. This is by far Andrew Garfield’s best performance to date.
What a fantastic story. This is also a story I didn’t know anything about and is honestly heartwarming to watch. These intelligent woman are truly inspiring. It also has one of my favourite quotes from a film, “We all pee the same colour”. True.
This is by far my favourite film of the year! I went in with very low expectations and I was completely mistaken by the whole film. Great story line, amazing action scenes, empowering for woman and Gal Gadot was the perfect lead actress for the role. Brilliant.
