I love visiting places where my favourite films were shot and created. It makes be feel like I”m standing in the movie and can really appreciate the locations. Obviously, I’m a massive film geek and most of the places I visit I book internationally to visit the film locations. I want to stand where the actors stood, go to the locations massive film sets where set up and sometimes act out the scenes. I’m just a massive nerd and I don’t care.

Pin the post for later:

Last year, I went to Monument Valley and one of the main highlights of the trip was running on the road from Forrest Gump. It took a while to get there but what an experience. Our Tour Leader even got us all a box of chocolates when we left. Super cute!

I’ve always wanted to go to Amsterdam. It wasn’t till I watched A Fault in Our Stars when I was given the final push to book it. The film shows the real beauty of the city despite the tragic story line. I won’t be going in winter again. Hell no.

Oooo la la. Paris. The City of love and romance. I’ve wanted to go to Paris forever but always felt like I could only go if I was with someone. This year I went anyway and had a fabulous time! I really wanted to see the Louvre which features in the Da Vinci Code. I’m looking like a massive Tom Hank nerd right now…

When people think of Vegas, there’s one main movie which springs to mind and that’s the Hangover. Unfortunately, I have yet to have a night out in Vegas which involves a Tiger, Mike Tyson or losing a member of my wolf pack. Won some money and got several hangovers though.

“You probably get this a lot. This isn’t real Caesars Palace. is it?”

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. One of the best parts for me about living in London is that I am constantly stumbling upon places which feature in my favourite movies. I’ve even visited the Warner Brother Studios to visit all the sets and find out why I never received my Hogwarts Letter. Seriously, Owl Post is worse than the Royal Mail.

Boston has a special place in my heart. It’s one of the places I would love to live. I love the place and the people. The Departed, Ted and Fever Pitch are all set in Boston but it’s Patriot’s Day which shows how resilient the people of Boston really are and why I love them. #BostonStrong

The Big Apple is one of my favourite cities in the world. I love this town. It’s been the set for some of my favourite movies, such as Sex in the City, Spiderman, Home Alone 2 and Coyote Ugly. There’s so much you can do in this City, a few days is just not enough.

Going to South Africa was eye opening for me. I went for my friends wedding, which was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been to. We went on a Safari on New Year’s Day and it was like being in the Lion King. We didn’t spot any Lions, I think I wouldn’t have been able to contain my excitement and would have gotten us all eaten if we did. Probably for the best.

Like, Whatever. I love California High School movies and TV shows. OK. Shut up. No, you shut up. My favourite TV shows include, 90210, The OC and Buffy. However, the QUEEN of all high school California movies is obviously Clueless. Like come on. Is there anything better? I don’t think so!
